are actually purchasing copies of the original images and the photographer
retains the copyrights to all images created during the photo session.
Can I legally get prints made when I purchase digital images? Yes! You will be
provided with a print release that gives you permission to have prints made from
the digital images.
After I purchase digital images and a print release, are there any limitations
on what I can do with the images? Yes. You are not allowed to publish the
images in any form, including entering in contest, and selling or altering the
images in any way without the photographer's written permission.
Am I allowed to share any of the images via social media? Yes! You may share
up to four (4) preview images via the social media outlet of your choice. Please
do not attempt to remove the copyright information and a short attribution
statement would be appreciated.
Are parents allowed to take photos during the photo session? The use of cameras, camcorder or any other type of recording device (including a cell phone) is not allowed by anyone other than the photographer or the photographer's assistant.
Do you have any suggestions to help make the photo session go well? Yes. If at all possible, do not bring any little children to the session that are not being photographed as they may cause you to become distracted. This may be an obvious one, but make sure your hair is combed or styled and that your face is clean. For guys, if you are not regularly shaving every day, please shave the day before your session and do a quick shave the day of the session so the face irritation has time to go away. Please avoid eating or drinking anything red or orange as these colors tend to leave a stain on the face.
